Clubbing it
Bradbury Fields offers a range of services with varying activities from Monday to Friday. Activities at the clubs can comprise of craftwork, art, gardening and exercise classes, all our yesterday days discussions, guest speakers and entertainers. We also have regular visits from the Hairdresser and the Chiropodist as well as a Holistic Healer offering massage, reflexology and Indian head massage. There are also trips to the local supermarket. Tea and Toast or Biscuits are provided on your arrival and either sandwiches or a hot meal can be purchased at low prices. Trips out to local attractions are also organised. A door-to-door mini-bus service is available so why not come along and enjoy the fun.
Art Group
Tuesdays also see the ART GROUP meeting at The Bradbury Centre. Come along and enjoy the fantastic purpose built facilities. The Art Group had an exhibition in the Picton Library in 2003 and provided some of the artwork displayed in the Bradbury Centre.
Music Group
Interested in music? Do you play an instrument or would like to learn? If the answer is yes why not come along and join our music group. Our state of the art facilities enable you to record onto CD. We meet on Thursday evenings so come and join the fun.
Walking Group
Do you enjoy walks in the country? Has getting out for walks become more difficult since sight loss occurred? If so, why not join our weekend walking group. Transport is provided and sighted volunteers accompany visually impaired people on all walks.
Tandem Club
Do you enjoy cycling? Our tandem cycling club ride out at weekends. Come along and join in – its great fun and good exercise.
Deafblind Club
This group meets on a Monday at the Bradbury Centre. The club provides an opportunity for people with a dual sensory impairment to meet with others and exchange vital information. We also organise days out for members of the group i.e. The Tate Gallery, Conservation Museum and local garden centres etc. Lunch is also available at the Bradbury Centre. Transport is provided.
Tuesday Group Holy Trinity
This Club is run at Holy Trinity Church Hall in Wavertree and is one of the oldest Clubs run by Bradbury Fields. It runs from 10.30am–2.30pm. Activities take place in a relaxed atmosphere and include gentle exercise classes and guest speakers. A Chiropodist visits once a month. A light lunch is included.
Braille Communication’s Group
This group meets at the Bradbury Centre from 10:00am to 12:15pm. It provides support for those who have learnt Braille and want to maintain and improve their skills.

3rd Friday OF Each Month
The Chinese group meets at the Hector Peterson Court, Liverpool 8. This group offers befriending, information, cultural and educational services. It is run from 12:00noon to 3:00pm and lunch is available.
4th Friday of Each Month
The African-Caribbean Group meets at Hector Peterson Court, Liverpool 8. The group provides opportunities for befriending, collecting and exchanging information, cultural and educational services. The group runs from 12:00noon to 2.30pm and lunch is available.
