Adult Services

Do I need to be registered as visually impaired to receive a service?

No you do not need to be registered. If you have a sight problem, which cannot be corrected by glasses or contact lenses, then Bradbury Fields will be able to help.

Registration

You may be certified as either Sight Impaired (Partially Sighted) or Severely Sight Impaired (Blind) by a consultant Ophthalmologist (Eye Specialist) at your Eye Clinic. He/she will ask you to sign a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI). A copy will be sent to you, your GP and Bradbury Fields (if you reside in Liverpool) and Social Services (if you reside in Knowsley). Once Bradbury Fields/Social Services have received this they will contact you to discuss registration and see how they can help.
